OUR RESPONSE TO THE CORE STRATEGY AND URBAN CORE AREA ACTION PLAN

We want to keep this short as we have also commented previously.

We have written to relevant officers to seek clarification on the 1CORE (now LDF) process and methodology, attached below. There's some serious green belt sprawling proposed which warrants more justification and proof than currently provided.

Why is this important to the Newcastle Cycling Campaign? We are an interest group concerned with transport, infrastructure, active travel, and its relation to public space and provision of local services.

Read our 1CORE consultation response, attached below. Receipt was not acknowledged by council officers. It seems a right shambles.
